The lines between humans and machines are blurring, if they even existed in the first place. Our ability to engage in a semester-long course called After the Human underscores the human reliance on machines. There are, there must be, some defining characteristics of both that endow their separate function.
A conversation begins, a survey is created. One operates through spoken word and the other uses words to gather data. The composition of a person’s value structure indicates how they might navigate their lives, form their opinions, and interact with other people. We explore the values of humanity in an effort to make sense of our technological world. This is The moment in which our questions come to life.
