exploring patterns of randomness

undivided uncertainty

To know is to ask,
to wonder,
to dig and decline the satiety
of bequeathed rapture.

By random recruitment,
we live as humans –
together and apart,
forever inseparable.

Guided and guilted by
the incoherent gap between
the reality we see
in our people;
the model we figure
in our heads;
the convictions we hold
in our hearts.

At the moment of capture,
we seek new worlds,
new wonders,
new networks of knowing,
discontent with the comfort of certainty,
a monotony cast on the damned.
